Kotka & co. acted as advisor to Terveystalo in its acquisition of Sivupersoona Oy, a company that offers speech therapy and speech impairment and sign language interpretation services.

Sivupersoona Oy, founded in 2003, is a pioneer in its field in Finland. Sivupersoona’s services are available in Finland’s largest cities and their surroundings and through digital services throughout Finland. The company employs 115 professionals in sign language and speech impairment interpretation, teaching of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) methods and speech therapy. The revenue of Sivupersoona in 2020 was approximately 3.5 MEUR. The company provides services mainly to KELA, but also to municipalities and private customers.
