Kotka & co. acted as buyer-side counsel in an MBO-transaction, where a team consisting of senior managers of the company acquired all the shares in Technip Offshore Finland Ltd. from TechnipFMC. As part of the transaction the company changed its name to Pori Offshore Constructions Ltd. The company owns and operates the yard in Mäntyluoto, Pori, and is most known for its Spar -oil platforms. Under the new ownership, the company will strive to widen its product portfolio and to seek foothold on the domestic market.
